On Saturday we went to Arkansas to pick up a 5 month old yellow lab. Our 2 year old yellow lab named Sassi has cancer. She is not doing good and we don't know how much longer she will be with us. I just love Sassi. She is the best dog anyone could ever ask for. She is great with Summer and the kids down the street. She loves everyone and wants to please everyone. So I will have to find another dog soon. I emailed this breeder to see if she had any more little puppies for us to buy. On the same day that I emailed her another lady was emailing her to give up her 5 month old lab to someone who would take her. Well, it worked out and we got her. Her name is Lilly. We chose to keep that name since it is almost Easter "Lilly". How things work out. We have a dying dog whom we love so much to we find another dog that fits perfectly in our family.

Saturday night we had a birthday party for me at Mark's parents house. It was fun and we had a great dinner. Then on Sunday we went to my dads house for dinner. Lots of food on birthday weekend. It was so much fun!!!!
Here are some pictures of Summer and Mia's bedroom. They are going to share a room at first. Summer can't wait to share a room with her. We have Mia a big bed for now. If she is smaller then we have a crib that we will put where the bed is. Who knows she might be 3 years old when we get her. I don't care how old she will be. I just wish we could get her now!!!!

That is all I have for now. I just pray everyday that God will give us the patience that we need while we wait on Mia. The timing will be perfect as long as it is God's timing. He knows what we need to do and how to prepare our hearts for Mia and Summer. I cant wait until the day we go and get her and bring her home. That will be a great day!!!!
